Super Citra Clean™ Tar and Cosmoline Remover is one of our d-limonene cleaners and degreasers, specially designed to remove petroleum-based soils, cosmoline, and transit coatings. This water-based, VOC-compliant cleaner is ideal as a tar remover, strips wax and sealants from painted surfaces, and is body shop safe for pre-refinishing surface preparation. It will not harm metals, even when used at full strength.
Cosmoline and transit coatings: apply a 1:1 solution, let soak 3 to 5 minutes, scrub lightly with a car wash brush, and rinse. Engine degreasing: spray directly, wait about 5 minutes, and rinse thoroughly. Tar: spray directly, wipe with a clean, soft cloth, and rinse thoroughly.
