These buffing wheels employ a high ply-count (60-ply for most cases, 55-ply for the Gold Standard™ buff). This high ply count creates a very dense, but still very soft buffing wheel that can be used as a cut. color, and finish wheel. These wheels are robust enough to cut out 600 grit sanding marks and can be used during a the finish stage with a simple liquid polish.
